Using their experience as an ecologist and queer person, Tom will share their learnings about queering ecology and how it helps them not only in understanding and sharing ecological knowledge, but has also led them through the maze of healing as a queer non-binary person. We will explore these ideas through the perspectives of the wildlife and ecosystem of Penglais wood and heath and let them guide and stimulate us into finding our own diverse paths beyond the binaries and into reconnection with the wilds.
