Guided bat walk Swansea

5 July 20.30 pm - approximately 23.00 pm/23.15pm

A guided bat walk with introductory talk about bats. This evening walk and talk will start with a small presentation by the local bat group members, speaking about the different bat species that live in the area. Using bat detectors, we will try to listen and watch bats as they go about their business.

Please bring a torch. If you have a bat detector, please bring it with you but some bat detectors supplied! Bat sightings cannot be guaranteed as they are a wild species but fingers crossed!

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for the weather and terrain. Bear in mind that if weather conditions are unsuitable for bat surveys (rain/windy) then this event may be cancelled (or postponed) so please check with the organiser on the day.

No charge for the bat walk but donations to the Glamorgan Bat Group welcome. This will either cover research projects or bat care costs.
