Swift survey in Uplands, Swansea

Swift survey around Uplands in Wales Nature Week, as part of the Saving Swansea’s Swifts campaign. Free event, all are welcome

4 July 20.30 pm

Common swift Apus apus return to the UK in early May and usually return to existing breeding nests. However, many nests sites have been lost which, along with other pressures, have led to this wonderful bird being on the UK and Welsh Birds of Conservation Concern Red List.

Meeting point: Brynmill Park (by the play area) What3words: ///lamps.timing.windy
