Guided bat walk Singleton Park

Guided bat walk Singleton Park

7 July 21.00 pm - approximately 23.00 pm

A guided bat walk led by a local bat group member around Brynmill/Singleton area. This evening walk will start with a small introduction to bats and a demonstration of how to use bat detectors to find bats. Using bat detectors, we will try to listen and watch bats as they go about their business.

Please bring a torch. If you have a bat detector, please bring it with you but some bat detectors are supplied!

Bat sightings cannot be guaranteed as they are a wild species but fingers crossed! Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for the weather and terrain.

Bear in mind that if weather conditions are unsuitable for bat surveys (rain/windy) then this event may be cancelled (or postponed) so please check with the organiser on the day.

This event is suitable for children and young people as long as accompanied by an adult.
