Swift survey in Sketty, Swansea

Swift survey in Sketty

6 July 20.30 pm

Swift survey around Sketty, as part of the Saving Swansea’s Swifts campaign and Wales Nature Week. All are welcome

Meet outside St Paul's Parish Centre (north end of Singleton Park)

Common swift Apus apus return to the UK in early May and usually return to existing breeding nests. However, many nests sites have been lost which, along with other pressures, have led to this wonderful bird being on the UK and Welsh Birds of Conservation Concern Red List.
