Funding

Finding and applying for adequate funding is always a challenge. Local Biodiversity  Partnerships will generally have a fairly comprehensive database of funding organisations and a wealth of experience in applying for funds. This reference section provides a list of possible funding sources and relevant links to useful web-based resources that advise on areas such as finding match-funding and filling out application forms.

Note: This list is not exhaustive and remains a flexible document. While we have tried to categorise the funding opportunities for ease of use we are aware that these may change. Therefore we ask you to do two things. 1) Look at the entire document because while a source may be an opportunity specific it may also suit a local project. 2) If you know of a funding opportunity please contact Delcie Simkin (Delcie.Simkin@wales.gsi.gov.uk; Tel 01970 653885) who will update the document.
