Wildlife of Pentremawr Colliery – Guided Walk

5th July
10:30-12:30

Join Glo i Natur CIC for a guided wildlife walk at the former Pentremawr Colliery in Pontyberem, as part of Wales Nature Week. This walk will explore how nature has reclaimed this once-industrial site, transforming it into a haven for a wide variety of wildlife.

Discover the rich diversity of plants, insects, and other wildlife that now thrive on the old colliery landscape and learn why post-industrial sites like this can be so important for biodiversity. From colourful wildflowers and pollinating insects to other fascinating species, there is plenty to see and learn along the way.

Meet at the entrance to the site on the Heol Capel Ifan (B4317): ///crust.sailors.divisible
