Join us at Henllys Local Nature Reserve for a moth trap opening event!

As part of the Healthy Planet, Healthy People Project, Torfaen County Borough Council are running a variety of wildlife-focused events, this event is being delivered by county moth recorder Kevin Hewitt.

You will get the chance to see a variety of moths carefully caught the previous night, learn their names and fascinating facts about them, and help us safely release them back into the wild.

This event is perfect for families looking to get out in nature, moth enthusiasts hoping to see interesting species and complete beginners interested in learning something new!
