Local Record Centres

Local Record Centres are at the forefront of biological recording and have been established nationwide to provide a local focal point for the collation and management of environmental data. There are four records centres operating within Wales giving full geographical coverage. Click on the link to find out more information about your local record centre.

National Biodiversity Network

The National Biodiversity Network (NBN) Gateway website is designed to compliment the network of LRC's and provide a hub for all recording activity. THe NBN can be used to view distribtion maps of species, for example you can view distribution maps for all Welsh priority species.
