UK BIODIVERSITY PARTNERSHIP CONFERENCE 2008, 10th - 11th Sept

The 6th Annual UK Biodiversity Partnership Conference takes place at Aberystwyth University on Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th September 2008. The intention of the conference is to bring together the biodiversity community to discuss themes and issues of common concern. The title of this year's conference is 'Delivering for Nature: Biodiversity - a keystone of Sustainable Development'. For more details and a booking form click here

Sir David Attenborough has recently launched Save Our Butterflies Week which runs from 19th -26th July. Twenty UK Butterfly Survival Zones have been unveiled including the south Wales grasslands. The focus of this new strategy is saving butterflies across entire landscapes. For more information, click on this link
